Raja Foods LLC of Skokie, Il is recalling its 15 ounce package of “ANARKALI PESHAWARI NAAN” because they may contain undeclared MILK. People who have allergies to MILK run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled “ANARKALI PESHAWARI NAAN” were distributed nationwide in retail stores.
The product comes in a 15 ounce plastic package marked “ANARKALI PESHAWARI NAAN” on the front of the bag. The manufacturing date and expiry date are on the back side of the bag. The dates are ink jetted and formatted as Year/Month/Date.
One illness has been reported to date in connection with this problem. The complaint occurred in New Jersey and was reported to us through the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA.) The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the MILK containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of MILK. We are working with our supplier to change the labeling of the product going forward.

WASHINGTON, July 1, 2017 – Willow Tree Poultry Farm, an Attleboro, Mass., establishment, is recalling approximately 440 pounds of tuna salad products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains tuna, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label and the packing was mislabeled as chicken salad product.
The buffalo style chicken products were produced on June 27, 2017. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels(PDF Only)]
  • 12.5 oz. individual plastic containers of “buffalo style chicken salad.”
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-8827” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to Whole Foods Market locations in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
The problem was discovered by Whole Foods Market employees whilst unpacking the product. 
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.  
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Publix Super Markets is issuing a voluntary recall for Publix Tropical Medley Mix because it may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes. Publix received notification of the potential contamination from our supplier of dried apricot, The 5.7oz clear plastic containers of the mix were sold from Publix retail produce departments in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina with a UPC of 41415088586. All use by dates are being recalled.
Consumption of products containing Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infection in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
“As part of our commitment to food safety, potentially impacted product has been removed from all store shelves,” said Maria Brous, Publix media and community relations director. “To date, there have been no reported cases of illness. Consumers who have purchased the product in question may return the product to their local store for a full refund. ADM Animal Nutrition™, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM), is recalling 50-pound bags of Rough-N-Ready 14 BT cattle feed, product number 54787BHB24, because the product contains elevated levels of monensin beyond the recommended dosage, which could be harmful to cattle. At elevated levels, monensin can be toxic to cattle and can cause colic-like symptoms, hypokalemia, myoglobinuria, chronic cardiovascular issues, and possible death.
There is one lot number involved in this recall: Lot # 2WS01717. The product was distributed between Jan. 19, 2017, and Feb. 2, 2017, and could have been purchased directly from ADM Animal Nutrition or through one of three distributors including: Midwest Fertilizer, Inc. in Iola, Kansas; CW Feeds in Wichita, Kansas and Northtown Ace in Mountain Grove, Missouri.
ADM Animal Nutrition received reports from two customers claiming this feed may have resulted in death loss on their respective farms. The company immediately began investigating and initiated the recall upon receiving confirmation that the feed contained elevated levels of monensin due to a temporary breakdown in the packaging process, which has now been corrected. ADM has been in direct contact with the distributors involved in this recall, and all product has been removed from retail shelves. ADM is also working directly with the customers involved.

WASHINGTON, June 23, 2017 – The Wornick Company, a Cincinnati, Ohio establishment, is recalling approximately 61,538 pounds of beef ravioli products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product may contain milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.
The beef wonton ravioli items were produced on Feb. 22, 2017 and March 28, 2017. The following products are subject to recall: [View Label]
  • 14.5-oz. plastic bowl packages containing “Sam’s Choice ASIAN STYLE BEEF WONTON Ravioli,” with “BEST IF USED BY” dates of Feb. 22, 2018 and Mar. 28, 2018.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 19076” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
